page29631.jpgScott McGeachin is the Director of Golf at Warm Springs Golf Course and has been a PGA Golf Professional for over 25 years.   He has a thorough understanding of the golf profession including promoting the game of golf, instructional programs for all ages, driving range operation, course management and pace of game.

Scott has been with Junior Golf for the 20+ years, including programs such as "Lifetime Sports" for high school students, and "Clubs for Kids" for juniors of all ages, and was the Junior Section Leader in 2002. 

He is an experienced coordinator of  PGA and LPGA tour events and has over 25 years experience as a Head Professional or Director of Golf.

Scott is  PGA Class-A and has PGA Tour golf experience.  He was a Touring Golf Professional on the PGA Tour in Australia and New Zealand. 

 

page29632.jpgBlake Mason is the Warm Spring Golf Course assistant manager.  

Blake has been employed at Warm Springs Golf Course since 1989 and has served as the Assistant General Manager since 1993. He has been an Assistant Golf Professional since 1998.

Blake has been involved in the management and operation of the golf course throughout his tenure and has been responsible for all merchandising and buying for the golf shop. In 2007, Blake was received the Merchandiser of the Year Award for public golf facilities from the Rocky Mountain Section of the PGA. Blake was nominated for this prestigious award by his peers.

Actively involved in junior golf instruction and programs, Blake served as Tournament Director for the AJGA Boise Junior Classic at Warm Springs from 1999-2001.

In 2006, Blake received his Class A PGA Certification and was elected to full PGA Membership.

A graduate of Boise State University, Blake was a member of the BSU Golf Team. 

 

page29633.jpgPeter Nichenko is the Head Golf Professional at Warm Springs Golf Course. Peter received his Class A PGA Certification and was elected to full PGA Membership in 2006 and is a member of the Rocky Mountain Section of the PGA. Peter is responsible for the coordination of the eleven week junior camp provided in the summer months, as well as the adult group lessons offered at the course. In addition to providing golf instruction to people of all ages, Peter has extensive experience running and organizing golf tournaments such as the Boise City Championship, The AJGA Boise Junior Classic and the Father Russell Charity Scramble.

Prior to joining Warm Springs in 2000, Peter worked in the golf profession at courses in Tucson, Arizona and Willamette, Oregon.

Peter is a graduate of Boise State University, and was a member of the BSU Golf Team. Peter represented Idaho in the 2000 and 2006 Carter Cup Matches, qualified for the 2004 Taylor Made Assistants Championship, won the 1994 John Dropping Tournament and the 2002 Oregon 4A Individual State Tournament. 

 

page34480.jpgJohn Russell is an Assistant Golf Professional and the Tournament Director at Warm Springs Golf Course.  John has been a PGA Apprentice since 2006.  Since 2001, John has been instructing the Warm Springs Junior Golf Team, and has been teaching individual and group adult lessons since 2006.

John played golf for three years at Boise High School (2000 - 2002), then attended Eastern Oregon and Boise State University.

Stu Hampton is an Assistant Golf Professional. Stu received his Class A PGA certification and was elected to full PGA Membership in January 2023.  Stu teaches youth and adult lessons, both group and individual lessons.  Also, Stu provides club fitting services to help golfers order golf equipment specifically made for their swing.
